♥ A Very Happy Teacher's Day. More like JATI Day.
Well, it was the kind of mornings where you decide to get up, bathe and dash to school. It was Teacher's Day. A day of tribute to the ones who MOULDS the country and the future. So, our brilliant monitor, Sean Wen. A boy of courage and wit decided that 5 Jati should have a performance.
Knowing me, Joyce and Ash, not being able to say no to him, had AGREED to help.
Brilliantly ONE DAY before Teacher's Day. We had to come up with a performance in 2 and a half hours and enter the AUDITION. So cracked our brains out.
We auditioned, feeling insecure and embarrassed. Someone gave up. But the rest of us were headstrong as we all knew we could be better.
Imagine this:
A bunch of people clad in school uniforms on stage dancing with only a Sony Ericsson phone to play the music.
As an audience, you just see clowns shaking their asses at at unsynchronized pace.
The teacher in charge even thought we were a joke.
Sadly, we proved them WRONG.
I spent 1 hour at my com playing Shakalaka Baby - Bombay Dreams about a million times to be exact to fill the voids in the dance. Rachel was so annoyed with the song because I played it OVER AND OVER again.
Seriously, the song was getting on my nerves.
After watching a few videos on Youtube, I was inspired. So voila. The dance was complete.
We practiced and practiced and practiced. Then, it was time.
Our performance had the entire school clapping and cheering because my class monitor can SHAKE. Even the teachers were applauding crazily. My class teacher, Puan Ho, despite the fact that we hate each other, congratulated us and said, " I'm so impressed."
So for those lazy asses who missed it, here's a sneak preview:
After our performance, we dashed to the class.
Sean, Joyce, Ash and I were so hyped up. We free styled in class. It was awesome man. Felt so good. Then we decided to have a lil' party.
We played MUSICAL CHAIRS and guess who won!?
Me of course. [ Seng Ju was being a gentleman. LOL. ]
As soon as the bell rang, we packed and left.
OMFG! They locked the partitions. F***! We're trapped in the block. And the only way out was to JUMP.
Among the victims were:
Me, Joyce, Ash, Sean, Seng Ju, Akram, Ka Jun, Ikhwan, Shivarnee, Lydia, Tze Yeang, and a few more people.
The office boy came and said,
" Kalau nak balik, pukul 3 la. Yang ada kunci tu dah pergi surau."
ONE ****-ing BIG ASS SCHOOL and you have one ONE key to each door?
Stupid office boy. No wonder he's an office boy.
Government school sucks ass.
So we saw the cleaner lady and we begged her to get us out.
Two of the dumbass heroes; Akram and Seng Ju jumped off from the first floor. Akram fell on his ass. Geez.
Finally, the kakak came with the keys and freed the jailbirds. Freedom never felt so sweet. For that half an hour, it was kinda chaotic. Because we had to call our parents and transports.
Went home, slept. Went to tuition.
When I came home, my dad said," Hey, wanna go Genting Highlands for dinner?"
Despite the fact that I had a long day, I can never turn down an offer to travel for food.
So off we went, reaching there at 9. Eating biscuits and Ferrero Rocher on the way. As usual, the 3 sister hyperness and LAME parents. Crapped our way there. Had a lil' lecture but that's in the past.
Didn't make it to the arcade, sadly. Was looking forward to playing House of Dead 4. We went to Genting Hotel to drink Coffee Bean and crapped some more.
As Andrew had estimated, I reached home 12 SHARP. LOL.
So that was how I spent my Teacher's Day.
